This semi precious gemstone material is well known as Cacoxenite or Cacoxenite Amethyst.
Cacoxenite is a mineral that is an inclusion in quartz. It appears as gold or brown acicular needles.
Most experts now claim that the gold inclusions in the Amethyst are not Cacoxenite inclusions, but rather Geothite. It is said that Cacoxenite can never form in Amethyst as there is no phosphorus in the environments in which they crystallized.
However some of these cabochons also do include Cacoxenite, Clear Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Rutile and Lepidocrocite.
In any event these Amethyst gemstone cabochons are very unique and beautiful!
This material comes from Espirito Santo, Brazil.

In the metaphysical world this material is known as “Super Seven”, “Melody’s Stone” or “Sacred Seven”. There is also a new similar material from Canada called “Auralite”. Although not always present or visible a piece of Super Seven is believed to retain all the healing properties of all 7 minerals- Amethyst, Clear Quartz. Smoky Quartz, Cacoxenite, Rutile, Geothite and Lepidocrocite. The stone is said to open all of your senses and to bring wellness on all levels. It is often used in Reiki rituals and meditations.
